The recently released of the new Geovision iPhone Application allows remote vid= eo access of cameras over the internet using Apple’s iPhone or iPod Touch.  The application is compatible with Geovision version 8.3 and above.  You can receive the GV-iView appli= cation can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store.  Any Geovision card running version= 8.3 and above will work. You can u= se the local IP across the LAN and the Internet address for WAN connections.<= /o:p>

 

Geovision i-Phone Setup and Instructions

  1. Select W= ebcam Server under the Network tab
  2. Select V= ideo Tab and enable Create JP/GIF files
  3. Start We= bcam
  4. Forward = the following ports on your router and/or DSL Modem:
  5. Use www.canyouseme.org to test por= ts
  6. Download= the GV-iView from iTunes  www.iTunes.com and install it on t= he iPhone or iPod Touch
  7. Launch t= he GV-iView application on the iPhone or iPOD
  8. The Login Screen

 

The= system view is initially 6 cameras and you can slide the viewer and get to the oth= er cameras in your system.  Click= ing on any camera selects a single full-screen mode.
