Geovision iPhone Camera Application

The recently released of the new Geovision iPhone Application allows remote video access of cameras over the internet using Apple?s iPhone or iPod Touch.  The application is compatible with Geovision version 8.3 and above.  You can receive the GV-iView application can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store.  Any Geovision card running version 8.3 and above will work. You can use the local IP across the LAN and the Internet address for WAN connections.

Geovision i-Phone Setup and Instructions

-Select Webcam Server under the Network tab
-Select Video Tab and enable Create JP/GIF files
-Start Webcam
-Forward the following ports on your router and/or DSL Modem:
-80 (change if necessary in GV Network Webcam settings)
-Use to test ports
-Download the GV-iView from iTunes and install it on the iPhone or iPod Touch
-Launch the GV-iView application on the iPhone or iPOD
-The Login Screen
-IP ? Enter the webcam address (If using port other than Port 80, enter :port# at end of address, example
-Port ? 8866
-ID ? username in GV DVR
-Password ? PW in GV DVR

The system view is initially 6 cameras and you can slide the viewer and get to the other cameras in your system.  Clicking on any camera selects a single full-screen mode.
